Atlas Alarms Limited was founded by the current Mangaing Director, Dennis McGurty in 1972.
Over the last 35 years, we have consistently developed and grown through our commitment to customer service and technological innovations. A large majority of our customers have been with us over twenty years.
In recent times we have aquired several electronic security companies including N.I.S. Alarms, NWWS Security, a major Lancaster based security company and Jade Security. This has enabled us to expand our company and take it forward over the next 35 years!
Atlas Alarms is still a family owned enterprise. This reflects in the management of the company, enabling our customers to actually talk to all of our staff with confidentiality and trust. All of the employers and employees are Police vetted as per our industry requirements.
We are fully accredited the NSI Gold Award for the installation and maintenance of intruder alarms, CCTV and Access Control systems. There is no higher benchmark of quality for the electronic security industry and it is our guarentee of the best possible service.
And just in case you were wondering......many people ask us about our logo and what it means. It is in fact an electronic relay, turned on its side to make the letter 'S' to represent Security. It is enclosed in a circle which represents a globe, meaning global security but we opted for Atlas, because in the 1970's, the letter 'A' put us right at the front of the yellow pages!
It is a registered trademark which is called the 'S' device.
